D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) is a 2-year course which is conducted by the state government of Haryana and also conducting authority includes SCERT (State Council of Educational Research & Training). It is for the lower primary school teachers (1st to 5th). Eligible & Interested candidates are requested to apply for two years D.ed entrance exam.

This exam is conducted to take teachers’ education to the next level of NCTE recognized by the Teachers Institute of the state level for the academic session of 2020. The council lays maximum position on keeping excellence in teaching both as an end in itself and as a basis for inspiration for subsidiary brilliance in research.

Eligibility
  • The admission will be open to bonafide residents of Haryana and outside Haryana. (In compliance of CWP No. 23829 of 2014 of Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court Chandigarh)
  • The minimum Education Qualification for Admission to these courses is as follows:-
    • Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
      • Candidates with at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (10+2) from Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or its equivalent examination with five subjects including passed English as one of the subject.
      • There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in minimum qualifying marks i.e. 47.5% at Senior Secondary (10+2) level for Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classes (BC), and Differently-Abled candidates.
      • Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit.
    • Diploma in Elementary Education (Urdu) D.El.Ed. (U):-

      In addition to the qualifications prescribed as at (i) above for Diploma in Education (D.El.Ed), the candidate should have passed Urdu in Secondary (10th class) Examination from Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or any other Board having equivalence of their examinations with Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani.

Note:
  • A candidate having higher qualifications will not be entitled to any additional benefit whatsoever; he/she will have to fulfill all the requisite prescribed qualification and other eligibility conditions.
  • The eligibility of a candidate (as on 25-08-2018) for admission to D.El.Ed. the course shall be verified at the time of admission/counseling.
  • The medium of Instruction & Examination for D.El.Ed. the course will be Hindi except for Urdu & English subjects.
